Seher Sikandar is a multidisciplinary artist and community facilitator who blends creativity, media, and healing to support social change.  Born to Pakistani immigrants in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seher now calls Brooklyn home. She describes her purpose as creating ”potent and inspiring medicine — projects, initiatives, works, spaces, movements — to help elevate the way we exist as humans.”

In part one of our two-part conversation, Seher and I delve into:

-Living from our heart spaces for true authenticity

-How social media addiction has manifested in Seher’s life

-The connection between social media and our needs for belonging and approval

-Learning to navigate all the worlds of our lives - both offline and online

-Seher’s practice of Qi-gong and the role of energywork in her healing path

-How working with our energy and connecting to the Divine is accessible to all of us

Tune in next week for part two of our conversation, where we dive into Seher’s mental health journey and the personal and collective shifts happening in our world right now.
